Crystal System
Any crystal must belong to one of seven crystal systems, the symmetry of which introduces constraints on the possible values of the unit cell parameters. The seven crystal systems are: triclinic, monoclinic, orthorhombic, tetragonal, trigonal/rhombohedral, hexagonal and cubic.
