MIT Hillel Grants

Grants and scholarships available from MIT Hillel

MIT Hillel Scholarship Funds: MIT Hillel has a limited budget to provide scholarships for students who wish to participate in Jewish social justice, Jewish learning and other projects.

MIT Hillel's Jewish Programming Grant provides students with resources to plan and execute an independent program to serve the MIT Jewish community. Whether it is a pre-Yom Kippur discussion or a Shabbat dinner in your dorm with your grandmother's matzah ball soup recipe, we are here to help you make it happen and make it meaningful.

Please submit the application at least three weeks prior to the event. The application includes a description of the event, your publicity plan, your target audience, and a detailed budget. A face-to-face meeting may be required to clarify budget and details.

You will be notified of the decision regarding your grant application no later than 2 weeks prior to the date of your event.

We review applications on a rolling basis in the order that we receive them. The sooner you submit an application, the sooner you will be notified of the Board's decision.

If you have any questions regarding the MIT Hillel Programming Grant, please email
