| Guidelines for Kitchen Use |
 |
Our two kosher kitchens are under the jurisdiction of the City of Cambridge Board of Health. We must adhere to the following sanitation guidelines:
- Each time a kitchen is used all counters and sinks must be cleaned using disinfectant spray and paper towels.
- Nothing can be stored on the floors. Everything should be on a rack or in a cabinet or refrigerator/freezer. The Campus Activities Center personnel will be cleaning the floors on a regular basis (sweep and mop).
- Each time the kitchen is used the users need to remove or put away all food items. All leftover foods need to be sealed and dated. All items must be stored in the refrigerators or SEALED and stored in a cabinet or on a rack. Any improperly stored item is subject to disposal. Labels and markers are provided.
- Refrigerators, freezers, and shelves need to be kept wiped clean.
Please help us to maintain a functioning kitchen with the following:
- If there is any breakage or if there are any appliances in need of repair, contact the Hillel office.
- If any supplies are running short, contact the Hillel Administrator.
- Any groups/individuals interested in using either kitchen (other than regular approved users such as the Breakfast Group and the Kosher Ko-op) must first check with the Hillel office for availability and then with the student kosher supervisors.>/li>
