   1. Meal Reservations

All Passover meal reservations are due Thursday, April 10! All dinners and the first seder require a reservation. Send an email to kosher@mit.edu, list all meals that you want, provide your MIT card number for payment, or prepay with cash/check by making arrangements with MIT Dining kosher@mit.edu

   2. Seder Options


All Hillel Seder (First Night) -- Saturday April 19, 8:15 pm, W11
A traditional participatory seder with all your friends! $15 (MIT students), $45 (others); Check and MIT TechCash card accepted. RSVP to kosher@mit.edu by Thursday April 10.

Second Seder Home Hospitality -- Sunday, April 20
MIT faculty, staff, and alumni/ae welcome students to their home seders. Contact hillel@mit.edu by Friday, April 11.

Dinners will be served during much of the Passover week. All meals require a reservation with kosher@mit.edu by Thursday, April 10

AEPi Seder (Second Night) -- Sunday, April 20, AEPi House

Hosted by AEPi Fraternity at their house. MIT students welcome. Individuals should inquire as to the level of Kashrut. Reserve with Stephen Fried.

   4. Information on Kashrut at Hillel


All food served at MIT Hillel during Passover is kosher for Passover. The MIT Hillel kitchen is under the supervision of the Va'ad Harabonim of Massachusetts.

"Numbers in Judaism" with Rabbi Sam Seicol, Saturdays in April 2:30 p.m.

"Doing & Understanding Passover" with Rabbi Berish Ganz, Tuesdays, 5-6:15 pm in March and April

   6. Chametz Sale -- Forms Available


Want to sell your chametz (forbidden leavened foods)? Forms (pdf) to transact the sale of your chametz (via the Va'ad Harabonim of Massachusetts) can be downloaded and faxed to the Va'ad.

   7. Information on Purchasing Kosher for Passover Food


Passover foods prepackaged with kosher for Passover certification are available for purchase at most area supermarkets including on campus at Laverde's. Brookline has several Jewish grocery stores accessible by public transit.

   8. Shabbat Freedom Dinner


A special Shabbat dinner during the week of Passover. Our dinner delves into the issuess of freedom in the present time. All are welcome. Sponsored by Grad Hillel & MIT Hillel. Supported by the MIT Graduate Student Life Grants. $8 per student. Reserve by Thursday, April 10 with kosher@mit.edu
