Latke vs. Hamentashen:

The Great Debate 2006


Professor Walter Lewin moderated the 2006 debate, which featured two raucous teams competing in the presence of a standing room only crowd. The hamentashen was defended by Daniel Kleitman, Professor of Applied Mathematics, Alan Guth, V F Weisskopf Professor of Physics, and Alexander Slocum, Professor of Mechanical Engineering. The latke was lauded by Robert Silbey, Dean of the School of Science and Professor, Department of Chemistry, Brian Robison, Assistant Professor of Music and Theater , and Diana Henderson, Associate Professor of Literature.
