  Other Jewish Groups at MIT

Hillel serves at the umbrella organization for Jewish activity at MIT. A number of other MIT student groups also serve the campus Jewish community and often work in conjunction with Hillel.

AEPhi
The local MIT chapter affiliates with the national AEPhi Jewish sorority. Annual philanthrophies are Israel-based.

AEPi
Jewish fraternity which has two residential buildings on Bay State Road in Boston. Hosts weekly Shabbat dinner, Yom Kippur break-fast, and Passover seder.

Israeli Folk Dance Club
MIT's Folk Dance Club sponsors weekly Israeli folk dance sessions and occasional workshops. Their famous Israeli Folk Dance Marathon is held every year from December 24-25. Contact fdc-request@mit.edu or call the Folk Dance Information Line at 617-253-FOLK.

Israeli Students Club
Israeli students, both graduate and undergraduate and other Israeli members of the MIT community, gather for events. Contact: itai@mit.edu

MIT Mazel
MIT's Jewish and Israeli performing folk dance group, under the MIT Folk Dance Club. Watch for their performance at MIT's annual Israel Folk Dance Festival in March.

MIT Students for Israel (MITSI)
MITSI advocates for the State of Israel, raising awareness on the MIT campus.

Sloan Jewish Student Organization (SJSO)
The SJSO provides a dynamic link to Jewish students at MIT's Sloan School of Management. Programs include dinners with faculty guests, a lecture series, and social events. Contact sjso-admin@mit.edu.

Techiya
MIT's Jewish a capella group performs on and off campus during the academic year. Auditions are held in the fall. Contact techiya-request@mit.edu.

Israeli Business Club
The Israeli Business Club at MIT's Sloan School of Management promotes an understanding of and connection to business in Israel. Events are often sponsored with other Sloan-based Middle Eastern clubs. For information contact Gil Shapira, Limor Sinay, and Ori Spigelman.
