About Us
Hong Kong Students Bible Study Group (HKSBS) is a group of students
of Cantonese origin who have an interest in knowing God through
the study of the Bible. The group have no denominational background
and is affiliated to a joint group of pastors from various local
Chinese churches.
HKSBS was founded in 1991 by a group of Hong Kong students studying
at MIT with the calling to spread the gospel to fellow Hong Kong
students. You are welcome to check out our constitution,
which include a statement of our beliefs.
Our regular activities include bible studies in Cantonese, social
and cultural events in which members gather to have fun and enjoy
the fellowship in Christ. In line with our founding principles,
HKSBS is committed to outreach and evangelism, and we welcome nonbelievers
who would like to seek God and learn more about Him through the
Bible.
We meet regularly on Wednesdays, from 7:30pm to 9:30pm, in Private
Dining Rooms 1 & 2, on the Third Floor of the Student Center
(W20). We occasionally will meet elsewhere for activities other
than bible study; please contact
us to make sure before you come.
