Introduction

Welcome to the MIT Gradute Housing Guide. This guide is designed for the students, faculty, housemasters, house managers and the entire graduate residential community at MIT. Its goal is to introduce and explain the many varied and sometimes confusing policies and procedures associated with graduate housing at MIT. We hope it will help answer some questions you may have.

There are many ways to use this guide. You can read it straight through or check out the parts that answer specific questions. The guide is hyperlinked and includes a helpful glossary and an index.
