Undergraduate Housing : Housing Confirmation Form

 

This is the introduction to the Undergraduate Housing Confirmation Process. From this page students will either renew or cancel their housing assignment for the Academic Year, 2009 - 2010.

This form indicates that you wish to RENEW your on campus housing for the 2009-2010 Academic Year.

Please note: You will need the following information to confirm your assignment for the 2009-2010 Academic Year.

  1. You will need your MIT Identification Number.
  2. You will need an MIT Certificate. (Note: you may obtain a certificate at http://web.mit.edu/is/help/cert/)

Housing Confirmation Form Information
Eligibility

In order to be Eligible to confirm MIT Housing for the 2009- 2010 Academic Year, you must:

- currently be assigned to a space in an MIT undergraduate residence hall during the Fall 2009 semester.

- be eligible to register for the Spring 2010 semester.

Deadline

← All undergraduate residents who currently live on-campus during the Fall 2009 semester must submit the confirmation form by April 8th 2009.

-Forms received after the deadline will be charged a $100 late confirmation fee.

Students entering the April lottery ←In addition to entering the lottery, please confirm your housing by completing the Housing Confirmation Form for 2009-2010 by <clicking here>. If you are re-assigned in the April lottery, housing office will adjust your confirmation form.

9th Term Housing Applicants

←In addition to submitting a 9th term housing application, please submit the Housing Confirmation Form and indicate that you are cancelling your Fall 2009 assignment, as 9th term decisions are made subsequent to the confirmation process. If you are granted 9th term housing, the Housing Office will have you submit a new confirmation Form in late April.
