    Welcome to Next House!

The dorm has colorful open spaces, solar rooms, bright dining hall and beautiful courtyard. Together, they convey the architect's central themes - sun and community. In response, our residents are putting every effort to build a supportive community and transform the space into a vibrant and exciting place that offers a rich social life in an environment of strong peer support. The dorm participation in the Residence Based Advising program allows first-year residents to benefit from a superbly run support system by our upper-class students.

We, together with our students, our graduate residence tutors, our Residential Life Associate, Lauren Wojtkun, and the house Manager, Julie Gagnon, are looking forward to welcoming those of you who decide to join us in the fall.

Next Up: Next Act  Not to be missed! Spring time is time for Next Act at Next House. Now entering over seventeeth years, Next Act transforms the main lounge into a musical stage where residents pull out all the stops. Past Acts have included Bye-bye Birdie, Oklahoma!, Bells Are Ringing, Grease, Guys & Dolls, and Mame. For nearly three months, about a quarter of the dorm gets involved as cast, pit, or crew - though everyone comes to watch. Join Next House and be a part of the Act! And, of course, everyone will be invited to join the audience in the spring, wherever you live on campus!
