Undergraduate Residence Halls

There are eleven undergraduate residences on-campus. The name of the House Manager and faculty Housemaster(s) have been provided, as well as the address and front desk phone number. As you visit the various individual residence halls, you will learn about some of their tangible and intangible differences. But there are some ways in which they are all the same. They all have the same set of basic services, such as housekeeping in public areas, mail service, local telephone service, repairs and maintenance, and desk service. All residence halls also enjoy the use of their own laundry facilities, vending machines, TV lounge, weight room, game room, music room, computer quick stations, and they all have computer connections in their rooms.

Single assignment questions and information are coordinated through the Department of Housing office which can be reached at 617-253-2811 or residence@mit.edu. Questions regarding family buildings should be addressed to its house manager.
