Welcome to R&R in HR!
MIT's Rewards and Recognition program
is designed to recognize individuals and teams for exceptional contributions
to their office, their department, or the Institute as a whole.
It is through the acknowledgement of acheivement that we create
a nurturing environment for growth, learning, and professional development.
Appreciation can be delivered
in many ways—be it an informal "thanks," an email
sent to someone's supervisor citing "above and beyond"
efforts, a team lunch to celebrate a milestone, or a formal awards
ceremony. Regardless of the form it takes, recognition serves to
highlight behaviors and activities that benefit MIT and help foster
a spirit of shared success and commitment. HR's R&R program
has been designed to provide multiple avenues for acknowledging
our peers throughout the year.
