In an effort to provide opportunities for more frequent, spontaneous, on-the-spot appreciation to one another, "thank you" certificates and gifts are now available.

The process for presenting Appreciation/Spot awards is as follows:

• Nominator completes the on-line Spot nomination form and selects a gift from the available options
• R&R Committee prepares a “thank you certificate” and returns to nominator together with the selected gift
• Nominator shares the recognition intent with the nominee’s manager, and presents the award
• A copy of the certificate is added to the HR Bulletin Board Rewards and Recognition website
• Spot award recipients are recognized at department meetings
