About our courses
We believe that the professional development of MIT employees is an investment by MIT in its future. For this reason, we work to tie OED's professional development courses to the strategic goals of MIT's departments, labs, and centers and to the broader strategic goals of MIT.

We also believe that the professional development of MIT employees is a shared responsibility and collaboration between an employee, his or her manager, and MIT. (More about learning.)

Note that many of our courses fill up quickly, but we also have some online learning topics.

Our current courses focus on the areas of:

  • collaboration
  • leadership
  • communication
  • project planning
  • strategic planning
  • managing
