Background:
The Brigham and Women's Hospital coronary care unit cares for patients with complex medical problems including end stage congestive heart failure, myocardial infarctions, and lethal arrhythmias. We are investigating means of classifying and identifying unstable patients by correlating biochemical markers of disease with invasive and non-invasive hemodynamic and electrical measurements.
