Career Highlights:
Dr. Macklis graduated from the Harvard Medical School and the Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology with an MD and a PhD, in 1984. Dr. Macklis was a post-doctoral associate in developmental neuroscience at HMS and trained clinically in internal medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital and in adult neurology at the Harvard-Longwood Neurological Training Program. He then joined the Basic Science Division of Neurosciences at Boston's Children's Hospital, until 2003.
