Research:
Dr. Bernstein's current work focuses on the development of new drugs and the improvement of formulations for existing drugs using porous microparticle technology.

Career Highlights:
Dr. Bernstein received an MD from Harvard Medical School, and the Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology in 1989 and a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Dr. Bernstein has been involved in the research and development of six injectable and inhaled products which have been through various stages of clinical development (Phase I through Phase III) . He is an inventor on more than 50 issued and pending U.S. patents.
