Career Highlights:
Dr. Lesperance received her undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering and Master's degree in electrical engineering from Marquette University. She received her doctoral degree in medical engineering and medical physics from the Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology (HST) and her MD degree from the Harvard Medical School and HST. She trained in pediatrics at Children's Hospital Boston.

After completing her residency, Dr. Lesperance took a position in the Boston area as a pediatrician with Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates. She also worked simultaneously as the school physician for the town of North Reading, MA, and as an editor for Harvard Health Publications/InteliHealth. In July 2004, she moved to Binghamton, New York. Currently, Dr. Lesperance does research and teaches in the Bioengineering Department at Binghamton University, teaches medical students and residents at the Binghamton Clinical Campus of Upstate Medical, and sees patients in a primary care pediatrics practice.

Dr. Lesperance is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
