Dr. Janet Browne is the author of Voyaging: A biography of Charles Darwin. While writing the second volume ofher Darwin biography, she also holds a position as lecturer in the history of biology at the Wellcome Institute for the History of Medicine in London, England. Her research interests include history of biology, natural history and medical botany.
