Background
HWCVD-5 is a forum devoted to the advancement of HWCVD. The alternative names of catalytic CVD (Cat-CVD), initiated CVD (iCVD), and Hot Filament CVD (HFCVD) reflect the diversity of fields that have been impacted by this technology. The Cambridge/Boston area offers a multitude of activities to sample and enjoy and is a wonderful location to continue the spirit of international cooperation established at previous HWCVD conferences. The conference will provide numerous opportunities for networking among academic and industrial attendees.
