Games Committee: One representative head coach from each school

Games Committee Meeting: The Games Committee will meet on the morning of the meet at 10:15 at the finish line

Rosters: Alphabetical rosters are due by 6:00 PM Friday, April 21.   All roster entries as well as final declarations will be made on Direct Athletics at http://www.directathletics.com. 

Final Declarations: Final declarations are due by 6:00 PM, Wednesday, April 26.  All final declarations will be made on Direct Athletics at http://www.directathletics.com. 

Performance lists per event will be posted by Thursday evening at http://web.mit.edu/hwtaylor/mtfxc/outdoor/newmac/entries.html. The Honest Effort Rule will be in effect, thus any athlete scratching from an event after the final declaration, will be scratched from the remainder of the meet. 

Standards: There are no standards for this meet.  However, each team is limited to four entries per event and one relay team for each of the two relay events.

Coaches Packets: Team packets are to be picked up upon arrival at the facility on Saturday morning.

Competitors Numbers: Each athlete will receive one bib number to be worn on the chest (front or back for vaulters and high jumpers) and two hip numbers for the runners upon checking in with the clerk.

Scoring: Scoring will be 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 for all events.

Finals: The top nine athletes will be taken to the finals in the field events and eight in the running events.  Advancement will be per NCAA rules.

Facilities: A new 8 lane Mondo Super X Directional track was installed in 2002. A maximum length of 1/4" spikes are permitted on all Mondo areas. We will be using FinishLynx as well as FieldLynx to expidite the results, which will be shown on the scoreboard and be posted on a board on the northeast side of our track/stands.

Warmups: Warmups will not be permitted on the track once the meet has begun. The infield will be off limits to anyone who is not warming up or competing in the javelin or discus at those prescribed times.  The indoor track will also be available for use.

Weigh-In: All implements will be weighed-in and measured from 9:30 - 11:00 AM on Saturday morning. Coaches, please be sure to have all implements for all throwing events weighed in at this time.

Parking: Vans and cars can park across the street from the indoor and outdoor track at the West Garage and the West Garage Annex if space is available all day Saturday.  Buses can drop athletes off at the Vasser Street entrance to Steinbrenner Track and then proceed to the Albany Street parking lot at Albany and Pacific Streets (see map). 

Showers: You will need to let us know in advance if you wish to use our locker rooms or shower facilities.  If you will be using MIT's shower facilities please bring your own towel and soap as well as a lock if you wish to secure your valuables.

Athletic Trainers: Athletic Trainers will be at the site from 10:00-5:00 on Saturday.  Please notify Tom Cronan by phone: 617-253-4908, or email: cronan@mit.edu in advance if you have questions or special treatment needs. Please bring your own tape and other supplies as needed. Water and ice will be available.

Timing/Results: During the meet, results will be placed on a board on the northeast corner of the track beside the stands. Results will also appear on the scoreboard immediately after each event. We will be providing a full set of results as soon as possible after the meet with Finish Lynx and HyTek. Awards Ceremony: The awards ceremony will be held at 4:45 after the meet.
