MIT POWER RANKING

The power ranking is a method to score the strength of one team versus another by taking the top two performances in each event (we left out the decathlon) and assigning a score to those performances based on a set of tables. For instance, performances that would score a 7 would be a 17' PV, 200' Hammer, or a 1:49 800. Likewise, performances that would score a 3 would be 12.97 100, and 17:49 5K, or a 17'10" LJ.
