5.2.1 Classification by dimension

Using the abbreviation in Sect. 5.1, intersection problems can be classified in three subcategories, where one intersecting entity is a point or curve or surface as below:
  1. P/P, P/C, P/S
  2. C/C, C/S
  3. S/S
