8th IACHEC meeting logistics
----------------------------

 We have received 43 pre-registrations. 5 colleagues are expected to
additionally attend the meeting without residing at the meeting venue.

 A message will be sent to the IACHEC mailing list once the program is
approved and posted, to advertise it and to remind them of the registration
procedure and associated deadline.


8th IACHEC program
------------------

 The draft program circulated by MG prior to the meeting is discussed. It
is decided to shift the publication to next week, once the following
modifications are introduced:

- the time allocated to the calibration status of operational missions talks
  is reduced to 15 minutes

- the time allocated to the preparation status of future missions is expanded
  to ~30 minutes, or to at least 10 minutes per speaker

- a more precise schedule of the Working Group session is added. Some of the
  talks with a more focused scope could be shifted to the most pertinent WG,
  and advertised in the program as such. MG will ask the WG Chairs to provide
  their envisaged WG schedule for the meeting

- the "Statistics" session is shifted to Wednesday morning

- The two social events are added:
  - Welcome reception (starting from 18:00 hours, Sunday 24/3)
  - IACHEC banquet (starting from 19:00 hours, Tuesday 26/3)

- An informal evening chat on "IACHEC Working Groups" is added on
  Wednesday 27/3, starting from 21:00

 HM will investigate why the NIST colleagues did not pre-register.

 The program will be finally approved via e-mail.

 There have been problems in connecting with the WebEX tool at the beginning
of this conference. Their origin is unknown. We classify them as a SEU,
waiting for the evolution of the tool reliability. There are two alternative
ways to join WebEX meetings, if the link in the e-mail fails.

- Go the ESA WebEX page

  and type the meeting number in the corresponding widget, as specified in
  the meeting e-mail reminder. E.g.:
