Notes of the 19th teleconference of the IACHEC Working Group Chairs

1. 10th IACHEC meeting logistics
--------------------------------

 The registration was opened at the beginning of December. 7
registrations have been received so far. No issue with the
registration page.

 PP requests a clarification on the visa form. This will be
 followed-up off-line by MG with the Chinese organisers.


2. Scientific program
---------------------

 The prospective structure of the meeting has been posted on the
meeting web page.

 The following contacts will be undertaken prior to the meeting to
"invite" potentially interesting colleagues ("invite" in this context
has to be intended in the usual restricted sense, because no funding
is available to pay travel and accommodation expenses for the
participants).

- SS will contact D.van Dyk (copy AF and VK) for the session on "Data
  challenges for high-resolution spectroscopy"
- LN will contact the colleagues of the Athena "Inter-calibration"
  Working Group
- MG will contact the ASTRO-H Calibration Advisory Board, as well as
  the eRosita and Astrosat missions for "In-Flight Calibration Plans
  for future mission" session
- MG will coordinate with JN an invitation to the research teams, who
  have worked on comparing the galaxy cluster mass determination with
  Chandra/ACIS and XMM-Newton/EPIC
- EM and PP will contact research teams involved in the detection of
  unidentified lines at ~3.something keV
- SS will contact A.Read on the axion paper, as well as to transmit
  an invitation to the FP7 ExtraS project

 Further invitations are welcome, and should be send as soon as
possible, ideally by mid-January. Please, keep MG informed.


3. AOB
------

 A Doodle will be set-up for the next meeting to be held between
January 15 and February 15. Main topic will be: a) review of the
registration status; b) review of the WG activities.

 The subsequent meeting will be held on ~15 March, to finalise the
10th IACHEC scientific program.
