Analysis of how drugs and chemicals are metabolized in animals, and how this relates to toxicity and carcinogenicity. Chemicals treated include contaminants of food, air, and water; or pharmaceuticals; or endogenous electrophiles. Phase I and Phase II biochemistry. Electrophiles and nucleophiles. Human polymorphisms of drug metabolism.
