Why is mainstream pornography so often visually ugly? In this activity we'll view some pornographic films that are not only well-made but that also feature real people in real relationships. There will be some discussion and program notes that focus on the theory of why mainstream pornography is so often degrading and poorly-filmed. Among the films will be Nagisa Oshima's "In the Realm of The Senses", Fatale Video lesbian porn, Bel Ami gay porn, S/M, transsexual, etc. Since time and location might change, e-mail me and I'll keep you informed.
