Opportunity for the study of theater arts topics not covered by regular subject listings, including experimental subjects offered by permanent and visiting faculty. Students seeking an individual program of study with a faculty member must also obtain the approval of the Director of Theater Arts. Consult Theater Arts Office for departmental form.
Production of original theater piece about immigration in contemporary US society, capturing stories and traditions of some of the groups that have shaped contemporary American culture, including their music, dance, literature, and visual arts. Students interested in stage mangement, design, and/or tech can contact Bill Fregosi at wfregosi@mit.edu, or 3-0862. Auditions for performers and interviews for technical staff TBA. Actual rehearsal times will depend on the availability of the cast. Performances are Feb. 7, 8, 9, 14, 15, and 16.
