Wing Chun is a southern Chinese kung fu martial art founded on principles that emphasize simple and efficient hand techniques to neutralize any threatening situation. This seminar introduces fundamental concepts behind Wing Chun, including basic attack and defense, chi sao, and applications for typical street scenarios. We learn to instinctively counter opponents with greater size and/or strength, grappling techniques, and even weaponry. Because it emphasizes simple and efficient technique over strength and power, Wing Chun is a practical self-defense tool equally suited to both men and women alike. No previous experience is assumed or required.
