This introductory course is for people who don't know how to change a flat tire, jump-start a car, set up safety devices if your car breaks down, or how to control your car if you have a blow out. You'll have the opportunity for "hands-on experience" in changing a tire or jump-starting a battery.

Rape Aggression Defense Training (11-Hour Class)

This 11-hour hour version of Rape Aggression Defense Training (RAD) provides basic information on personal safety, awareness, risk reduction, and avoidance; teaches practical defensive techniques that require no special skills; helps women learn to be more aware of their surroundings; and gives participants the opportunity to test these learned skills on a real person during a simulated attack. Class fee of $20, payable to MIT, is due within THREE DAYS of registration. Registrants who cancel less than 48 business hours prior to class will not be eligible for a refund. Attendance is limited to the first 16 women with a payment. PE credits are available for students.
