Update:
The Nine Day Seminar will end on 1/29/02. Apologies for any inconvenience.
Falun Dafa (Falun Gong) is an ancient spiritual practice which cultivates body and mind, whereby practitioners assimilate to the characteristic of the universe: Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. Falun Dafa has not only benefited over one hundred million practitioners worldwide both physically and mentally, but ultimately has the higher goal of bringing people towards Wisdom and Enlightenment.
However, from July 20, 1999, the Chinese government started to heavily persecute those Chinese citizens practicing Falun Gong, mainly because a government survey reported that over 70 million Chinese citizens were practitioners of Falun Gong, exceeding the number of Communist party members. To this day, over 350 practitioners have been tortured to death. Ruthless propaganda slandering Falun Gong has been employed by the government to terrorize its citizens from practicing Falun Gong.
During the dates of: 15, 17, 22 we will introduce the five meditative exercises, and hold a discussion afterwards. Any questions or concerns about Falun Dafa and the current situation of the persecution are welcome. For the remaining dates (23-29) we will hold a nine day seminar, introducing the main principles of Falun Dafa and teaching the five exercises. All those who are interested are welcome to attend.
