Very informal walk-through of the application process of the Grants Program of the Council for the Arts at MIT, led by the Director of the Council.The Council is an all-volunteer group of alumni/ae and friends that can be most easily described as MIT's private arts foundation. All of the Council's programs, including the grants program, are funded through the contributions of its members. Only current MIT students, faculty and staff are eligible to apply to the Grants Program.The next deadline for applications is February 1. We recommend that you attend this meeting if you are planning to apply for this deadline.Reading the Grants Guidelines before the meeting is strongly recommended.
