Getting Connected to MITnet

This lecture will help guide you through the process of configuring your laptop or home computer to connect to MITnet so that you will have access to online services available to MIT community members only. Attendees will learn about the different options they have for connecting to MIT from on and off campus. In addition, all attendees will receive a CD containing the necessary software for accessing MITnet and MIT's online services such as email and WebSIS.
This session is highly recommended for all incoming graduate students, visiting scholars, and new faculty and staff.
