Do you want to make and share movies for wireless PDAs? Would you like to participate in designing an MIT-based mobile movie game that only can be played at MIT? If you are interested in writing, acting, directing, and editing this new entertainment experience, please join us a four-day workshop sponsored by the Interactive Cinema Group at the MIT Media Lab. In the first two days, we will introduce the concept, a prototype and a set of tools for making/sharing location-aware video stories over 802.11b wireless network. We will brainstorm the design for two or more potential mobile stories. During the follow week, we will produce one or more team-developed concepts. Productions will take place. On the final day, we will premier these prototypes and discuss future plans. The Interactive Cinema group will sponsor all necessary equipments for DV-based shooting and editing. A few filmmakers will join us to share their experiences and skills.
