FLCL: (Furi Kuri, Fooly Kooly...).
This bass-swingin', baseball-playin', mecha-havin' GAINAX anime is just what the nurse ordered for IAP. A frantic 6-episode sprint, it will leave you wanting to watch again...and again. Refreshments likely served.

January is a perfect time to explore the depth and breadth of Japanese animation, an art form as varied as film. Japanese animation is capable of a wide range of applications, from slapstick humor to superb story-telling and drama. We will be showing a selection of the best anime during IAP. Also visit our web page for updates about other Anime-related activities at MIT and in Boston during January.

Yes, Shirow did other things than Ghost in the Shell. Very good things, in fact. Come watch two short futuristic mecha-ish animes, Appleseed and Black Magic: M66. Yes, both will only take two hours!
