Participants welcome at individual sessions (series)

Come and learn how to play this fun and challenging game! The ancient game of Go combines the simplest rules and elements into the most complex of board games. Players alternate placing stones on the board with the intent of surrounding more territory than the opponent. As the game progresses, players establish tentative borders, invade their opponent's territory while trying to defend their own. We will cover the basic rules and concepts, as well as some strategy to get beginners playing as quickly as possible. More advanced players will have the opportunity to play, have their games reviewed, and learn additional tactics.
