The IAP Lectures series is a series of seminars devoted to a specific topic presented at a semi-popular level for a general audience interested in developments in science and technology. The topic for the IAP Lecture Series is "Spectroscopy at the Nanoscale." Speakers include: Joseph Jacobson, Media Laboratory, MIT "Electronic Inks" Moungi Bawendi, Department of Chemistry, MIT "Nanocrystal Quantum Dots: From the Lab to the Real World" Vadim Backman, Northwestern University "How to Cheat the Diffration Limit: Far-Field Measurement of Subnanometer Structures" Refreshments will be served.
