Learn your way around the darkroom: how to develop film and make a print. Part 1: INTRO TO FILM DEVELOPING. Thery Mislick. Tues., Jan. 7th 6-9:30pm. Bring exposed, unprocessed roll of black-and-white film with you to class. Part 2: INTRO TO B&W PRINTING. Dragan Grujic. Meets four Wednesdays starting Jan. 8th 6-9 pm. An introduction to basic B&W darkroom printing. Will cover making a contact sheet, use of variable contrast filters, dodging and burning, and toning. Students should bring their developed film and one 25 sheet package of Ilford Multigrade Delux RC 8x10 (or equivalent) paper.
