Join us on a trip to Germany where we’ll attend two workshops with young German scientists and engineers. First workshop (with Lufthansa employees in Frankfurt) focuses on challenges of airline industry like capacity limits and information technology in all aspects of flying. The second workshop (with Daimler Chrysler and Siemens in Munich) discusses cars of the future and their integration into 21st century mobility concepts. A tour of Frankfurt airport, the DaimlerChrysler and Siemens car and engine test facilities, and visits of cultural sites are included. This trip is sponsored by the three companies and the German Academic Exchange Service.
