Single session event

The medical profession is often glamorized in the media. Do programs like "ER" and "Scrubs" represent the reality of the world of medicine? Do these programs offer an insider's view of life as experienced by physicians and surgeons? In this interactive session, the Preprofessional Advising staff will show clips from popular TV programs. Dr. Michael Bailin will lead a discussion on the portrayal of medicine and medical practitioners as represented by media today. Dr. Bailin is an Anesthetist at MGH, an MIT alum and a Premedical Advisor. Register at http://web.mit.edu/career/www/iap.htm.
