Single session event

The MIT Alumni Association's online career networking system is a valuable tool for students and alumni actively seeking their next job opportunity or looking to hone their network of contacts and enhance career management. The Institute Career Assistance Network (ICAN) is a web-searchable database of alumni who volunteer their time as career advisors. This event will allow current students and local alumni to meet and network with some of the ICAN alumni volunteers face-to-face. We will also discuss the power of the network as it relates to career management and job search. The event begins with networking, ICAN demos and socializing, and then continues with a great panel of MIT Alumni sharing their expertise. The panel includes:
Dr. Charles Kolb - President & CEO of Aerodyne Research Inc.
Mr. Peter Schmidt - Founder of Lifting Mind Inc.
Mr. Earl Weinstein - PureTech Ventures
Dr. Burton Kaliski - Director and Chief Scientist of RSA Laboratories
Mr. Stever Robbins - Leadership and Executive Coach, VentureCoach
