Falun Dafa is an ancient spiritual cultivation practice which was made public in China in 1992, by Mr. Li Hongzhi. The teachings of Falun Dafa, the slow, gentle, and simple-to-learn qigong exercises, and the principles of Truthfulness, Benevolence, and Forbearance that Falun Dafa practitioners embrace, have benefitted more than 100 million people worldwide. Due to its popularity in China, with over 70 million plus practitioners, Central Party leader Jiang Zemin launched a country-wide ban on Falun Gong, starting July of 1999. Millions of books were burned, massive media outlets were directed to slander Falun Gong, and incite public dissent against the group. The persecution is ongoing in China. We will be holding a 9-day seminar, showing the nine lectures of Mr. Li's teachings. Afterwards, we will teach the five sets of exercises. Those who would like to learn more about Falun Dafa, or are interested in the current situation in China, are all welcome.
