7-sided backgammon, or "Astronomical Tables", is a medieval European gambling game for 7 people. We won't actually be gambling, but this game is fun nevertheless! Fast and cutthroat, with easy rules, it's a lot of fun. Come join us...it's only a game.

This is an introductory class to Shogi (Japanese Chess).
Shogi is similar to chess, but has additional twists. For example, when a piece is captured, it becomes a piece for the capturing side, and can be dropped back onto the board! We will go over the basic rules, do some demos, and you will be able to play a game of your own at the end of the session. The rule is very simple. Bring your friends along and join us playing this fun game!

Puzzles of every shape and size appear before your eyes. Get your friends together, sharpen your pencils, and solve all manners of puzzles to find a coin located somewhere on campus. Once the coin is found, the Hunt ends--but not before! Creativity and curiosity a must; sense of humor strongly recommended. Recent Hunts have lasted upwards of 60 hours--please remember to eat and sleep. At least one person from each team must be in Lobby 7 at noon on Friday, but all are encouraged to attend. You may also want to find a room on campus to serve as your Hunting Headquarters. Please sign up on the website--if you don't have a team, sign up as an "unattached hunter." New Hunters always welcome!
