Have you ever been camping and thought to yourself, "What would I do if I lost my sleeping bag and matches?" Come learn how to survive in the wilderness the way many Native Americans did - through respect and understanding of your natural environment. Based on the teachings of Tom Brown Jr (as taught at his reknowned wilderness survival school, The Tracker School), the basic survival skills of shelter, water, fire, and food will be taught in this hands-on, 4-hour intensive workshop. Students will have the opportunity to make crafts such as fire-kits and coal-burned spoons/bowls. A sturdy pocket-knife or hobby-knife is required for carving wood (some may be available for loan or sale, please inquire in advance).
