Shotokan Karate is a traditional Japanese martial art, which the MIT Karate Club has practiced here for over 20 years. We are affiliated with Shotokan Karate of America (SKA), a nonprofit national organization with ties to dojos around the US and internationally. Beginning classes are offered during IAP and at the beginning of each academic term. No experience is necessary, and our membership is open to anyone -- undergrads, grad students, alumni, or affiliates. We invite you to practice with us and experience karate and our group.
