This course is a preparation for students who want to develop their own self-defense skills and to enhance their leadership and commitment to service through teacher-training. It is a self-defense training in which students will not only learn the specific skills but will also learn how to teach them. Students who complete the course will be eligible (but not obligated) for employment as "Teaching Women" in LEAP programs which occur on campus and in Greater Boston. All LEAP programs are offered to girls aged 8-18 from at-risk communities at no charge to the participants.
