Treasurer 101 for FSILG Undergraduates, with Quickbooks Tutorial

In the main two-day course, designed for MIT FSILG undergraduates and RAs, participants will learn the basic methods of accounting tailored to the needs of FSILGs. In the optional tutorial on the third day, participants will learn to use QuickBooks? accounting software published by Intuit Corporation. Learning outcomes specifically include, but are not limited to: \* organizing and enforce contracts with members \* dividing financial tasks between chapter and alumni \* preparing and monitor budget, reconcile a bank statement, develop balance sheets, and manage petty cash through a ledger system \* maintaining a good credit and insurance rating \* preparing for an internal or external audit \* and much more
