House Manager 101 for FSILG Undergraduates, with Hands-on Tutorial

In the main two-day course, designed for MIT FSILG undergraduates and RAs, participants will learn about basic house management methods tailored to the needs of the FSILGs. In the optional third day, participants will have the opportunity of hands-on instruction in the area of minor systems repair.
Learning outcomes specifically include, but are not limited to: recognizing and understanding basic facility systems understanding specific licensing components and process adhering to life-safety guidelines developing a emergency action plan maintaining communication with alumni organizing a process for ongoing facility maintenance experiencing hands-on systems repairs
