The Heartsaver First Aid Course teaches rescuers to effectively recognize and treat adult emergencies in the critical first minutes until emergency medical services personnel arrive. The course includes general principles of first aid, medical emergencies, injury emergencies and CPR for adult victims (individuals aged 8 and up). Materials provided include text book, barrier device, and completion card. Fee is $55 for MIT students, MIT Health Plan Members, and MIT retirees.
