Prereq: Interest in public service learning experience
ALL MIT Students Welcome! Information session on a service project of refining and installing an early warning system along the Rio Aguan in northern Honduras, completing a needs assessment of the villages served, and bringing educational and medical supplies to these flood-threatened communities. FloodSafe needs students to assist in technical and social research, organizational outreach and many other roles. Funding provided by Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.
